The problem

Salesforce CPQ is no longer sold to new customers, and its successor, Revenue Cloud, is built on core platform objects rather than a managed package. There is no automated upgrade. Moving means rebuilding the catalog, pricing and rules.

How we fix it

That makes timing a business decision, not an IT one. We help you decide whether to optimize CPQ for now or plan the move, and when you move, we redesign instead of copying old complexity across.

Scope

What aRevenue Cloud program covers.

  1. Decision and roadmap

An assessment of your CPQ setup, catalog and integrations, with a clear recommendation: optimize and stay for now, or migrate, and when.

  2. Product catalog

Products, bundles, attributes and classifications modeled in Revenue Cloud's product catalog.

  3. Pricing

Pricing procedures, price books, discounts and contracted prices rebuilt and tested against real deals.

  4. Configuration and quoting

Configurator rules, quote documents and approvals that keep reps fast and pricing right.

  5. Orders, assets and billing

Order capture, asset-based amendments and renewals, and the hand-off to billing or ERP.

  6. Migration and cutover

Active quotes, contracts and subscriptions migrated with reconciliation, a parallel run and a controlled cutover.

Case study / SaaS

Automated billing for a B2B SaaS company

Subscription billing and revenue recognition took manual work across Salesforce, Stripe and NetSuite. We built the workflows and integrations so invoices, renewals and recognition flow between them.

Questions

Commonquestions.

Do we have to leave Salesforce CPQ?

Not immediately. Salesforce CPQ is End of Sale, not end of life, and existing customers remain supported. New capability is going into Revenue Cloud, though, so it makes sense to plan the move on your own timeline rather than under pressure.

Can CPQ be migrated to Revenue Cloud automatically?

No. Revenue Cloud uses different objects and a different pricing engine, so the catalog, rules and templates are rebuilt. Quotes, contracts and subscriptions are migrated with mapping and reconciliation.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on catalog size, rule complexity and integrations. After a short assessment we give a phased plan with real estimates instead of a generic number.
