What is Agentforce?
Agentforce is Salesforce's platform for building AI agents that work inside your CRM. Agents use subagents (formerly called topics), instructions and actions to answer questions and complete tasks, such as updating a case, booking an appointment or qualifying a lead, using your Salesforce data and permissions.
How long does a first Agentforce agent take?
It depends more on data readiness than on the agent. If your data and processes are in good shape, a focused pilot is a matter of weeks. If they are not, the readiness work comes first, and we will tell you that up front.
Is our data safe with Agentforce?
Agentforce runs through the Einstein Trust Layer, which provides zero data retention with model providers, toxicity detection and audit trails. Agents run with defined permissions, so they only see and change what you allow, and we add guardrails and testing on top.
Do we need Data 360 for Agentforce?
Not for every use case. Many agents work well from standard Salesforce objects and Knowledge. Data 360 matters when the agent needs a unified view across systems or has to search large volumes of unstructured content.
